The University of Liverpool  is on the hunt for students to complete its team to compete in the 2016 series of University Challenge.

University Challenge is a quiz show broadcast on BBC2 and tests teams of students from around the UK on a selection of tricky general knowledge.

The opportunity to be part of the 2016 UoL team is open to all students, including full-time and part-time undergraduates, postgraduates and overseas students studying in the UK.

If you are interested in joining the team you need to register for an online trial via the links below. The trial quiz will cover a range of subjects including general knowledge,  but you  will recieve more information about how the trial works once you have registered.

Following the trials, the four highest scoring entrants will be chosen to form the University of Liverpool team. One further person will also be selected as a reserve team member. Further testing of the group will then take place, followed by the completion of an application form for the show. The successful quartet may also be asked to go for an interview with the BBC.

If you have any further questions, contact Rebecca Mulvaney.
