Liverpool’s own Howie Payne (formerly Howard Elliot Payne) concluded his exciting 3-day tour at Buyers Club on the 9th of February 2017. Prior to the Performance at Buyers Club, Liverpool, he also performed in Birmingham and Manchester.
Howie is a singer-songwriter, best known as a member of The Strands and by his previous solo career, as well as an ex-member of various other bands. His music can now be described as folk and alternative, featuring just his voice and a guitar as accompany. Payne has a captivating way with words, which is a unique experience in itself when performed live.
He has now returned with the release of 10 new demos for free – titled ‘High Times, Home Recordings.’ The long-awaited follow-up album to his debut (Bright Light Ballads) is also set to be released this year, this gig was a fantastic chance to get a glimpse of where Payne’s music is going and giving the audience an insight into the highly anticipated solo debut album.
