Fan of catchy pop-rock hooks? Fan of the sci-fi genre? Fan of female-fronted guitar bands?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then you probably need to get yourself down to Jacaranda Records on 6th November to catch the brilliantly quirky, out-of-this world, Liverpool-born, London-based Zuzu play her biggest headlining gig to date.
Recently tipped as being one to watch by The Guardian, Zuzu has previously supported the likes of The Libertines and Tom Grennan, and is about to head off-on a nation-wide tour supporting Manchester indie-rockers The Courteeners. It is clear the future is bright for Zuzu, so I’d recommend going out to see her play a homecoming show in a venue as intimate as the Jacaranda whilst you still can.
This truly will be a gig celebrating the best of everything new in the north-west’s indie scene with support coming from the Liverpool-based Shards, as well as from Peaness, an all-female three-piece from Chester.
Zuzu is also playing at The Water Rats in London on Mon 5th November, before heading out all over Britain with The Courteeners and Gerry Cinnamon from 15 Nov-1 Dec.
Tickets for Zuzu’s Liverpool gig are still available here!
