Greenpeace place giant tuna tin sculpture outside John West Headquarters

Yesterday a giant sculpture of a tuna tin was placed outside John West’s Liverpool Headquarters by Greenpeace campaigners in protest against the companies fishing practises.

Transmitting from the tuna tin is a short video accusing the company over alleged human rights and environmental issues.

Surrounding the sculpture is an array of marine life which is under threat including sea turtles and sharks.

This demonstration comes after Greenpeace created a petition to end unjust and unsustainable tuna fishing which was signed by over 70,000 people. The petition was handed in by volunteers yesterday to the John West management team.
