Liverpool’s Snowflake Trail will be unveiled on Thursday 19th November.
As of next Thursday, giant snowflakes will be placed all over Liverpool, with thousands of trail maps being distributed so everyone can join in for this FREE event. The snowflakes, which have been painted by artists from all over the UK, can be found at key locations around the city.
For those who complete the trail and solves its puzzle, there is a chance to win one of several prizes, including a ‘money can’t buy Liverpool weekend’ for four people to stay at Hotel Indigo as well as prizes from local businesses.
The trail is being run by Liverpool BID Company, whose Chief Executive, Bill Addy, said:
‘’We can’t wait for the public to follow the trail, find them and solve their clues. There’s a few other surprises in store and the prizes, which have been donated by businesses in the city centre, are really special.’’
The main attraction being promoted as part of the trail is what has been described as ‘Britain’s biggest snowflake’. The huge illuminated snowflake, which stands at 8 metres tall, will be unveiled in Williamson Square on Thursday to launch the trail.
